| I remember this movie from years ago, and was looking for some uplifting title to watch and finally bought this. Fred Savage is wonderful as an eight year old dealing with his father's death. This movie does have a few "gimme a break" moments, but if you just suspend judgement it will make you feel so good. The message of the movie is that anything is possible, and it really is. You will smile. |

| This heart warming movie is excellent. Yes, it doesn't go with the book, but the story is exceptional. The whole family loves to watch it even when it's not around Christmas time. For the price you can't hardly find a better movie. |

I would suggest to anyone that, if you want to meet Tom Cruise, you buy this video and then post it for sale, and chances are that the buyer will be a) someone who read this comment; or b) (more likely) Tom Cruise. | I really loved this movie. I thought the actors did a great job. The actress playing Cher really had her movements down pat and she REALLY looked like her! Enjoyed the music and just seeing how their "hits" came to be. Just wish it was longer! |

| Promised LandThis movie is deeper than it appears. I first watched it for Kiefer Sutherland (love that man!). I didn't really care for the movie, itself, after my first viewing. Upon watching it again I discovered the deeper meanings behind the characters and American life. | It's sad when a review is nothing more than a personal attack. Maybe Miles forgot to tip coug after ordering a latte? That said, some facts need to be established in a world of cougian slander and inaccuracies.
Miles probably authorized this DVD because he thought it was funny, which it is, unless wit, charm and sarcasm are foreign to you. Self absorbed? Hardly.
