| I have always enjoyed this series, and have both seasons on DVD, as well as all of The Hills. The DVD is definitely worth buying if you're into the show.
I recently wrote a paper for a communications class about the show and how it tells us how to behave according to our gender roles. The show is quite stereotypical, and the cast is full of rich, white, straight, beautiful people. For some, that is its appeal, along with the pretty scenery. Surprisingly, I still like the show. ... | Very disappointed not with the DVD but the product. We can only view via our PC & not TV because of the different region on our DVD player. We have gone to no end of trouble to try to sort it & all we can do is burn it to play on our TV. I have bought One Tree Hill & had no problems so didn't expect this. Had same problem with The Witness & Almost Famous.
I hesitate to buy anything further through Amazon. |
