| This was not worth the money at all. I love rock-n-roll parady like SPINAL TAP, THE SCHOOL OF ROCK and really thought that this would be good and funny, boy was I wrong. It really sucked, way too stupid and way too immature, even for me a 46 yr old teenager. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Jack needs to go back to the drawingboard before attempting another one of these. |

| We watched this series when it first came on TV and we all loved it. We've never seen it in stores and recently I was on amazon.com and found it for sale. I thought my mom would really like it for her birthday and she did. The DVD's were in brand new conditioned as stated online, and they all played perfectly with excellent quality. The price was fair that I paid for and I am extremly happy with my purchase from the seller. |

| I've previously owned the Lynch version on DVD and the epic, three hour TV version that was shown on the Sci-Fi channel on a worn-out VHS tape. When this new extended edition dvd was released I jumped at the chance to get it. The extended version gives you much more detail and insight into the characters than the Lynch cut. While I find that the Lynch cut is enjoyable in it's own right I prefer the completeness of the extended edition. The shorter version just seems too rushed with too many gaps. |

| I saw "Blue Velvet" listed in "The New York Times list of Best 1000 Movies ever Made". The reviews that I read suggested that this film was rather "blue" itself and I was reluctant to view it. However, I was able to see it on the IFC channel the other night and I was, frankly, amazed that there was so much praise for it. The acting in "Blue Velvet" was so bad that it's almost embarassing. | Unfortunately I have not been able to view this DVD as it is in a format only available in America and not available in AUSTRALIA so have wasted my money, time and effort. I was looking forward to seing this as I have bought and read the book and I was moved by it greatly. |

| A great movie in theaters and still fun to watch. The trio of Crystal, the late Bruno Kirby and Daniel Stern is hysterical. There is also the great supporting cast with Newman from Seinfeld and don't forget about Jack Palance as the old Marlboro man Curly.
The bonus features are a nice addition to give you more insight into the cast and development of City Slickers. A great movie to have part of your collection. |

| Leave it up to Peter Jackson to screw up a remake this bad (well, Peter Jackson and Tim Burton...). The only two movies I ever considered walking out of were this one and "Lord of the Rings." Dull, dull, dull. And ... an extended cut? You've got to be kidding me! |
