Didn't need two of this item, but I paid for them, and accepted the order, even though I had changed it to say only 1, not two. I'll never make that mistake again. After editing, we must all make sure it really edits the number. |

| quick no fuss shipping. Bogie and Becall the signiture collection is very high quality copy. The double feature of THE BIG SLEEP was an added extra bonous. We love watching the older great films. This was definately four of the old greats. This time frame from hollywood by far their greatest time and will not be repeated. I would recomend this to anyone who loves the old classics. Very happy with product. And Amazon. Good work folks |

| After watching the 1989 version, I decided I needed the original. Honestly, I have no idea why they kept the title for the newer movie, because the two are not related at all. I'm one of the minority, in that I didn't like this one as well.

| As stated in another review by Dean Winiarski, this is a very good transfer and a Region 1 DVD. I just got my third party copy and it plays just fine! Would someone tell me why there are dozens of garbage DVDs released in the USA every week, and I have to buy a classic Humphrey Bogart/Katherine Hepburn movie as a Japanese DVD import?! At least I got my Region 1 copy! (And since the Japanese are listening, and Hollywood isn't, please contact me 'cause I've got a whole list of movies that we want on regular old DVD!) |
