Notorious may drag a little before Claude Rains comes on scene, but for the majority of its running length it's a expertly-directed story with solid performances (especially by Rains) and a sublimely clever ending. |

| Its no secret that the plot of this movie is sketchy. The satisfaction of Bullitt comes partly from the realistic and gritty treatment of the hospital scenes, and partly the general no nonsense atmosphere throughout. And the blu ray transfer is very impressive. The car chase speaks for itself. Overall, a nice statement for its time, but mainly for the atmosphere and vibe. |

| Actually, the cast listed for this Blu-Ray release is correct. It's just that they're all minor characters. Dawn Addams playes Junia, who I believe was Marcellus' sister, Leon Askin plays Abador, and I can't remember who that is, and Ben A. Asker plays a character whose name I forgot to write down. Check out IMDB for the full cast list of this wonderful film. I don't for the life of me understand why Amazon listed the cast like this, but they seemed to have done the same thing for the upcoming release of the Blu-Ray ... Read More: |

| I had watched Colossus - the Forbin Project a number of years ago on cable and was immediately hooked. It became then and remains today one of my all time favorites.
I was impressed with how well thought out and executed this film was. One could certainly guess that the Terminator films, among others, were heavily inspired by this movie. | Like many films in this genre, this one is often better viewed with the sound off. The blu ray transfer is good in most places and some of the cinematography is exactly what you want on a big LCD via blu ray. The narration is pedestrian at best, adding little and sometimes detracting from the enjoyment. It's a bit overwrought and melodramatic. If you can pick it up inexpensively, it does have some impressive eye candy. |
