| Mr. Brooks has a disease: he is addicted to murder. He tries to treat himself by going to AA meetings and prayer, but eventually he will give in. | Now and Then is a coming-of-age tale following the lives of four pre-teen girls. This film mostly takes place in the past rather than the present, this film should've been called Then and Now. Christina Ricci and Gaby Hoffman have the best character development and depth. Demi Moore is the only adult character that seems affected by past hurts and trials from her childhood. Melanie Griffith continues to play the bimbo, she is so much smarter than that! Good film but not a home run. |

| The movie itself is a favorite so I was looking forward to getting it in blu-ray. The video is a step up from the sd dvd but definitely not one of the better blu-ray transfers for a catalog title. There is some grain in the picture and at times the picture is a little soft but overall better than the sd. The CGI effects however are hurt by HD and don't look as seamless as in the sd dvd. The audio is TrueHD. It is clear and crisp but since this movie is mostly about dialogue the lossless codec doesn't add ... Read More: |

| good looking, of course this was 22 years ago and Demi still looks good. But then again she should, billionaries should also look good no matter what and if they don't somethings wrong. Movie was ok, boy do I miss the 80's. More relaxed, no computers, the fun wasen't drained out of everything. Well, most of the actors went on to bigger and better movies and salaries. | I avoided this film for two years not just because I assumed it would fail to live up to the importance of it's topic, but because that topic is still difficult for me to deal with. The story takes place just a week past my 16th birthday, but for me (and almost everyone of my age that I know,) it's as though Bobby was shot last night. When I see footage from the Ambassador ballroom, or when I see film of the funeral train... the tears quickly well up. Four decades later, I choke up.

| I am a huge Michael Crichton fan, but this video far outdid the book! There is nothing better than Harrison Ford and Demi Moore paired with an incredible script. This film was extraordinary!
