| Two of my favorite movies. got both for [...] thru amazon. Great deal. But I am not sure this title benefited greatly being put out on blu-ray. Colors look a bit off. You could stick to the DVD on this one. |

| Mandy Moore and Shane West star in this beautiful romantic drama. Though the characters are in their teens, the movie encompasses more than the teen movie genre. This movie is sweet and heartbreaking.
Popular and misbehaving Landon ends up taking notice of the local pastor's daughter, who is not popular and involved in many extracurricular activities. | I want to make it VERY clear, the three stars are NOT for the movie. Kill Bill, in my view, is one of the best movies ever made but this evaluation is for THIS Kill Bill Blu-ray release.
I am totally sold on Blu and, when the Kill Bill bundle became available... well... I ordered it when Amazon offered it at a great discount. This is my first Quentine Tarantino film. Editing is ultimate. Wow! What Music! Uma Thurman gives a terrific performance. I knever knew Michael Madsen or Carradine at that time. Both actors were my Dad's-time-guys. But after seeing Kill Bill, I have pin-ups of Madsen in my room. Paps always used to speak of 'Reservoir Dogs', 'Jackie Brown' etc..but they were not 'my-period' films. Even Daryl Hannah! I knew her only as the 'mermaid' from 'Splash'. | It's hard to find a really good Charlie Sheen movie but this one is for sure!
The scenario is great because it is something that can happen to anyone. Its particularly prevalent in today's environment because we apparently have ALOT of people just like Bud Fox. | 20th Anniversary Edition!.......Well it's got a good transfer and a few interesting extras, but what it is missing is the actual movie! The DVD has a altered version that removed the fact that Madison only changes back to a mermaid if she comes in contact with 'SALT' water! It doesn't destroy the film, but it does leave a sour taste in the mouth's of the people who saw the original theatrical version.
