| Iron Man is a really great movie. Robert Downey Jr. really steals the show with his superb acting job as Tony Stark/Iron Man by being absolutely hilarious all throughout and portraying his character perfectly. The film's soundtrack is also notable, full of electric guitar sound mixed with orchestrated stuff and it sounds great and fits the movie really well. | I worked for over 30 years with abused, neglected and disfuncitonal children. It was fun to watch a movie about kids that, although not perfect (but who is?) did positive things even if they did do a little bit of distruction. Revolutions are not clean...ever. |

| I ordered this DVD based on the praise in the reviews, because I wanted a DVD that showed how the the war in Vietnam with the North actually was. I was not disappointed. Mel Gibson, who played the part of Lt. Col Hal Moore did an excellent job. And the Producers, and the Director, Randall Wallace, produced and directed an outstanding movie. They did an excellent job of depicting the scenes as they actually happened, or as close as possible. And the inclusion of the Wives and Families was a brilliant addition. ... Read More: |

| I watched this rather bizarre movie not knowing what to expect. Part way through I was hooked, and by the end I thought, "wow, what a clever movie." The movie seems somewhat improbable, dead bodies falling onto cars, an employee robbing his place of employment, a guy losing his genitals, but the end result was a well directed, well acted film.
What makes this movie a challenge to watch is how it works backwards from the climactic scene. The movie thus becomes a series of vignettes that evolve around the preceeding (succeeding) event. ... Read More: |
