| When this movie first came out in the mid 90's at the height of the 70's revival and in the midst of an epidemic of TV show inspired quickie movies, I wasn't that interested. I was over it all frankly. I remembered watching it on cable (not bothering to see it in the theater) and while even then I was blown away by the future Mrs. Ben Stiller's dead perfect Marcia Brady, I was put off by the tone of the movie.

| American Dreamer became a cult film among our friends and family when it came out in the 1980's. We continue to watch it and we were so glad when it came out in DVD! It has adventure, romance, housewife-gone-wild and Paris fashions as well. Still worth the watch! |

| I adored the first `Brady Bunch' movie. I was such a huge fan of the show (reruns) as a child and to watch the sitcom get ripped apart in such a respectful way (you can tell that they wanted to honor the films ridiculousness as apposed to trash it) gave me such a warm and fuzzy feeling all over. | This is exactly why Amazon needs to make a deal with Buena Vista Home Entertainment. This is one of my favorite cartoons as a child, and this dvd only has a handfull of episodes. WE NEED FULL SEASON BOXSETS OF THIS SHOW AMAZON, PLEASE! Buena Vista Home Entertainment has the rights to this show, and they simply refuse to release it on Season boxsets. You did a good job by getting Nickelodeon shows, please try to make a deal with them. I know that it would sell. |

| I actually found this film fun to watch in a campy sorta way.Christoher Daniel Barnes ("The Brady Bunch"/Tv's Starman) does a great job with a silly script.The Mob guys in the film are a lil too much, and I'm actually tired of seeing mob guys in films,they pretty much are played out.Krista Allen is funny in the film too,and there are alot of cameos by 80's actors.When I baught this film, I started watching it, and just kept laughing on Chris's face expressions and the way he acts when he is around his love interest.He is a better actor than the script ...
