I had to review What About Bob? because this is one of the few comedies that almost everyone related to me really seems to like. I know just about every line by heart and sometimes can't help but say them out loud before the character does.

Bill Murray is at his best here as the annoying OCD patient, but you can't help but care about this guy. Richard Dreyfuss knocks it out of the park as Dr. Leo Marvin. This is a great performance that just builds and builds until he finally snaps into a murderous ... Read More:

When I tell people that this is my favorite movie they usually think Im joking. For some reason this movie has remained at the top of my list my whole life. Just looking at the number of high reviews on amazon made me smile because so many people see the beauty in this film. Its simple, funny and not over the top. Its also under the radar and not overly cliche. I even named my dog Mandy ten years ago after I was inspired by Preston's love for Amanda and the hilarious Barry Manilow reference. Hahaha maybe its corny, but Im ... Read More:

STORY - The film, based on a true story, begins with a scene from the Watts riot with two cousins (Bob Richardson & J.T. Turpin) arguing over whether to throw a molotov cocktail. It then flashes back to show how they and their family arrived at that point. How did a routine traffic stop flare into one of the worst riots in our history? How did the flames of racial prejudice get so hot? Richardson (Underwood) moved, along with cousin J.T. Turpin and their family, from Alabama to LA. It was supposed to be the land of opportunity but for the Turpins ... Read More:
