| I bought this DVD because i'd previously seen the movie and loved it. It has comedy, romance, poetry... all of this in an environment that contains peer pressure and all of those other great things about high school. I've seen Lost and Delirious many times and still haven't gotten bored with it... |

| This is one of my favorite movies. If you like movies like Super Troopers, Orange County, Austin Powers, and other good stupid humor movies you'll love this specially if your into snowboarding. Like others said probably shouldn't be a great movie but it works. |

| Although the acting is pretty first rate here, the story is dreadful.
The script writer is to blame. It is like they waited until the last moments of the story and, then, blew them up minute by minute. He spied for 22 years and they have about a month in this story. Moles in the security agencies are the worst fear, and they put this one in charge of finding himself... There has been a long history of the CIA and FBI being the worst ever at preventing leaks. | Hollywoodland is a movie with such great promise. It has a great premise, fantastic actors, and a connection to my childhood memories of watching reruns of Superman.
Unfortunately all of that promise is squandered by a mediocre (at best) script. While Adrien Brody, Diane Lane, and Bob Hoskins create some fantastic characters, and Ben Affleck doesn't totally stink up the joint, they are stuck with boring lines. | He played his part great, and i'm a huge fan of his, and poor man for the beating he got at the end. And as for the girls, they should have just left him alone, and as for the first one ahe should have used protection and understand that it wasn't love but S$$ itslf. Blonde, and niave, she should have known better.
As for David chacter, he should have payed more attention and should have spoke to his wife about the situation, maybe everyone would have walked out happy, and he would have learne his lesson another way---never cheat on your wife, because it'll come back ... Read More: |
