| This is not high brow comedy by any stretch, but it makes no difference since there are so many funny lines and scenes that it all comes together to make me laugh all these years later.
Chase, Murray, Dangerfield and Knight all have memorable parts in this movie and as a golfer some of these things come across as pretty funny since they are semi-real. | This is a classic movie with an entertaining plot performed by excellent actors. It is a musical comedy with something for everyone. This movie is just for entertainment, though it does sound some solid underlying themes about facing up to your problems. |

| WOW. I guess I should have seen this many years ago, but am just now experiencing this little bloody journey. Twisted but fun and oh, how it grows on you. The second and third time around I couldn't take my eyes off of the creepy baby. There's also a deliciously tacky cameo of 4E Ackerman at the zoo (good for Jackson that he paid homage where homage is due). I think this was Jackson's first venture into moviemaking. | I get it. It's trying to be a deadpan, quirky movie about a dysfunctional family. It just isn't NEARLY as good as the pretentious people out there would have you believe. Arrested Development does the same thing but with WAY more interesting characters and humour that never misses the mark. |

| I am a huge fan of `The Royal Tenenbaums', but I couldn't rally behind `Rushmore' the way I thought I would. The acting was superb across the board, and the humor, when it hit, was hilarious; but there was just something about this movie that didn't sit well with me. | I have read just about everything the character or Dracula has ever appeared in from the Bram Stoker's novel to the Marvel Comics adaptation and beyond. Likewise I have seen many Dracula movies from Nosfaratu to Bella Lagosi to the Hammer House films. My favorite adaptation of all the movies is this one.
