| I never saw Chariots of Fire when it was in the theater in the early 80's, but I became interested in it after I saw some of the sites where it was filmed when I was in Scotland recently.
It's based on the true story of the track team of Great Britain in the 1924 Olympics in Paris. Eric Liddell has become one of my heroes -- standing for what you know is right even in the face of incredible pressure and sacrifice. It's an amazing film!! |

| I adored this film. It is more like a puzzle or mosaic than a story, but it comes closer than anything yet to painting a good picture of such an interesting man.
This film is nonlinear and abstract - people who like a concise, plot based story are not going to like it. People who don't know or care much about Dylan's career probably won't get much out of it. | I definitely recommend this Bible set series. Genesis is a little slow but great for children to understand the creation. Esther, Jeremiah, and Solomon are all very detailed about what events actually took place. Thumbs up! |

| In my opinion, this is the best WWII movie ever made. Actually depicts the politics that went on behind the scenes as well as the action on the field. |

| After the brutal first few minutes of the film, I thought it was going to be a more realistic telling of the Arthurian legend; it turned out to be quite the opposite, but I still enjoyed it.
The Good: The (unrequited) love between Lancelot and Guinevere is more understandable given that Arthur is depicted as being a contemporary of Guinevere's father, and easily old enough to be her father, if not her grandfather, whereas Lancelot is young and very heroic and dashing. | This is a 1991 revival of the 60's soap opera, "Dark Shadows". This is not a retooled series like "Battlestar Galactica". The new "Dark Shadows" stays faithful to the series. Some characters, however, have been merged into one player. The special effects are better(I could have sworn they had a plastic bat for old times sake, though). Fans will like the faithful and enhanced reproduction of the Collinwood sets.
