| Kings of the Sun, a 1963 movie starring Yul Brynner and George Chakiris is another classic not to be missed. We acquired this movie because we are die-hard fans of Mr. Brynner, who born on July 11th, 1920, lived to the age of 65, when he died of lung cancer. A Russian-born actor, Yul Brynner brought magic to the screen in roles as the King... in the King and I, "The Magnificent Seven" and in his unforgettable performance as Rameses II in the epic "The Ten Commandments."

| I saw this in the theater about 40 years ago. As far as a movie, it's far, far from Paul Newman's best effort.... nor does this in the same league as "Grand Prix" or "Le Mans". But, it's watchable, and if you collect racing stuff, it's a "must have". The footage at Indy is pretty good, and late 1960's Indy cars are, to my eye, some of the best looking racecars ever. |

| This is Deborah Kerr at her best! A young Liam Neeson is outstanding, as is Jenny Seagrove in the lead roles. Saw Woman of Substance as a TV mini-series is '86 and enjoyed it then - even nicer to own it and review whenever you want. |

| Some people seem to like this kind of mindless movie.
The best thing in the movie for me was the blues singing of Mary Steenburgen. I didn't find the idea of science meeting pseudo-psi very funny. But it is a romantic comedy and they usually make even less sense than this one where the psychic marries the wrong guy. The acting of Demi Moore is really pretty bad, but Jeff Daniels is just not much better. |
