| Always loved this movie since I was a kid (before VCR's)and would watch on Dad's old 16 mm projector..Funny that someone else wrote they felt this role was "made for Danny Kaye"....In fact the movie was based on a book- "The Maladjusted Jester" that was written by Sylvia Fine- who was- guess who? Danny Kaye's wife! |

| This is one of my all time favorite movies. Some of my favorite parts include the one in the cartooned section of the kids under the sea. I also like the battle at the end with all the knights.
If you have young children this movie is sure to delight them and fascinate them. My children, ages 9, 7, and 5 enjoy this movie. |

| This was the second year where Jesica would go between Cabot Cove and New York and sometimes overseas to places like Ireland. Angela Lansbury is at her best with this series even though the series almost didn't go past season 7 so we are greatful she kept it going for another 3 seasons after this one.
So for people who like murder/mystery and seeing actors from the past and some in the future actors that have since become famous |

| A very good animated movie from the 80's, also a very good voice cast. Indeed it has to be considered the first movie to use famous actors to dub it, with extremely good talent - a must to say it. Very nice script, nice dessign of the character, though the unicorn is a bit too fragile... |

| This film is clearly a bit slow paced for today's standards. However, it provides today's viewers with an almost perfect script, acting, and story. This is one of those rare (very rare indeed) films in which you will be subjected to a deep philosophical discussion about what is good or bad under human standards, while simultaneously it will be absolutely enjoyable. | I LOVE this movie! I can't believe I've gone my whole adult life and never heard of the series of books from which it was born. I know it was intended as a kid's movie, but I found it to be entertaining and delightful myself. (Of course, that may speak more to my child-like imagination than to the movie itself.) However, if you enjoyed the Harry Potter series as an adult, this movie is for you as well. Go for it - let your inner brat out for a bit and splurge! |

| Angela is fantastic as always. She made me laugh will her portrayal of Mrs. Lovett. The costumes are very nice. The set is the pits with one piece that men come out and turn 90 or 180 degrees for different scenes. There is a very annoying air horn they blow every 15 minutes, I guess to wake up the audience. The cast do their best with the material. However, as Stephen Sondheim always does, the songs go from beautiful to God-awful.
