| This recording is a delight from start to finish--Isabel Bayrakdarian's heart and soul are linked to every moment of this music, and the result is a haunting collection of songs in a variety of moods. The arrangements and piano solos by Isabel's husband Serouj Kradjian are masterful. I recently attended a live concert in which these artists performed about half of the material on the cd--it was a magical evening! |

| I really like this CD. The music was very uplifting and soothing at the same time...I play it for my fetal son every night before bed with headphones that I stick onto my belly. I don't know if it's doing anything, but I can hear it too and it almost puts me to sleep :) |

| Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has truly out-done themselves in the Lord. The only thing that separates them from the heavenly choir is that they're here on earth giving praise to God. In "We Fill the Sanctuary", they sing in Spanish with a Salsa-style beat. It's glorious!!! |

| I bought this CD as a replacement for the old vinyl recording I got years ago. This is one of my favorite Christmas albums. If you like John Rutter and his choral Christmas works, then you will want to own this CD. There are newer recordings since this was originally recorded (and I have them, too), but this was one of the first ones that I heard and it has sentimental value. And, once again, Amazon's price is the best. |

| I've never been paying attention to her, but after I borrowed her La Luna CD from public library, and listened to one of her songs from this album This Love becomes one of my greatest songs all times. Now, surely I like her, and I cannot wait for her Christmas album. Her Scarborough Fair..........is so wonderful. |

| I have only one complaint, and it might be a little nontraditional: the first movement of the symphony...I'd swear I've heard it in a war movie or the like...some sad scene on a battlefield strewn with soldiers' bodies and drifting smoke. For some reason, thinking this takes something away from the piece for me. Stupid, I know. But once you're past the first movement, it is stunning. And of course, w/o the Hollywood images rolling through my head, the first movement would be stunning as well. |
