| This recording has good production values, considering its date. I found the orchestra somewhat lacking, but Tuckwell is hard to beat. It was the first "used" CD purchased through Amazon and I was satisfied with the product and the service. |

| Great musicianship and they really groove from beginning to end. Never listened to or bought anything like this before, but after hearing a song or two on a jam station I just had to try it out. Very cool. |

| I just finished "Violin Dreams" and I would certainly recommend it to any music lover.
I really enjoyed Mr. Steinhardt's quest for a violin that would meet his needs as a professional musician, and I was fascinated by the look into this world of rarefied instruments. On top of that, the book comes with a CD of Bach's works performed by Mr. Steinhardt. THAT was a great idea! Buy the book, you will enjoy it. |

| I recently restored speakers I built built during the early 80's based on my patent [...]; the woofers were replaced using modern large excursion sub-woofers. In addition to the usual stereo image testing my goal was to test my subwoofer performance to thundering cathedral organ pipes. One of the several CDs purchased from Amazon was "Glorious Pipes: Organ Music Through the Ages" ; I was not disappointed especially from the material contained on CD #2 tracks 1, 3, 8 and 9. Over all I am pleased with both disks.

| This is wonderful classical music. If the kids like it, great! But, make no mistake about it, this is good for anyone. This is wonderful study music, reading music, or just plain relaxing music. Highlights include "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers"; "March of the Toys" (from BABES IN TOYLAND -- the reason I bought this CD); "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"; "The Little Train of Caipira" (no longer little when the music is over); and the audience favorite "Hoedown" (i.e. "Beef, it's what's for dinner!").

| You won't hear much on these CD's that sounds like the Dirt Band as we knew them in the 70's. The real worth of this collection lies in the preservation of grass roots country tunes, lyrics and voices over a span of three decades. Remarkable and admirable!
