| After hearing a selection from this CD on NPR, I knew I had to purchase a copy. I bought a copy for myself and also as a gift. David Russell takes his guitar to a place that touches your soul and makes your heart sing along. Even if you are not a fan of classical music you will love this CD. |

| Of all the recordings of Dvorak's 9th, (From the New World) this has to be the definitive version, which I reach for before any other. He shows a deep respect for the tempos which few do with this symphony. I have heard renditions which play the allegros too slow and the largo of the second movement too fast, ending up with a dull, muddy andante moderato through the entire symphony.
Solti would have none of it, and this simply has me in awe, and I would heartily recommend it for all who want to listen ... Read More: |

| A friend of mine got this for her son about 3 years ago and he's still listening to the stories. Its calming and interesting. Its great in the car. The story goes along with the movements of the piece and really brings classical music and a great story to children. I now get this for all my friends with babies and small children. |

Bach French Suite BWV 816, it is a pity Ms. Dinnerstein seems unaware that there are some rules to this music and she should be well inspired to read Evgueny Teregulov's essay or/and she should simply enrol herself at the Gnessins Academy in Moscow where the legacy of prof. Alexandrov is alive and well. Her playing would benefit from this knowledge, sadly so slow to reach western students.
