| This release of "Sleeping Beauty," a filmed performance by the Royal Ballet, was eagerly anticipated by myself after I watched the telecast. I think, all things considered, that this is the best Sleeping Beauty DVD on the market. Other videos might have finer individual performances (Margot Fonteyn, Yuri Soloviev, Alla Sizova) but those videos are all severely abridged versions of the ballet, and the video quality is not high. | They play well, a very clean interpretation. I think they may be a starting point to Beethoven Quartets.It is possible to hear every instrument at all times and it is fine to know each part. But I like several other quartets in Beethoven. |

| This is an excellent Boheme in every respect. I would note that I own the regular DVD in a widescreen version, and although the "product details" of this Blu-Ray version indicate that the production is in a 1:33::1 aspect ratio (i.e., full screen), it is more than likely in widescreen (i.e., 1:77::1). It's an unfortunate fact that--every now and then--widescreen versions of some films are carelessly (and incorrectly) characterized as full screen. |

| I bought Milstein's rendition of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in 1967--I believe it was produced by Capitol Records. I got rid of all my vinyl records years ago, and subsequently found that none of the many CD versions by other artists measured up to this one. I was thrilled to see that it is now available on CD--and at a bargain price! This is one of my favorite CDs and I highly recommend it. |

| Fantastic!! Since his first cross-over CD/DVD, "Under The Desert Sky", I have awaited another such set. I have listened and viewed it many times and it just gets better. One of our most prized operatic voices heard today. The wonderful artists that appeared on stage and performed with him were outstanding. The backdrop of the Tuscany countryside was beautiful and well chosen. I look for more of these entertaining concerts which I prefer over classic opera. |

| Lee Johnson has taken the work of the Dead and re-imagined it as orchestral music. It is remarkably provocative and demands close listening. My wife is a classical musician, and upon hearing Johnson's work, she is now quite interested in listening more closely to the Grateful Dead. I think this CD can work as a bridge for fan's of both The Dead and classical/symphonic work. Entirely compelling. |
