| I have the European Version of this title. This is a 2007 mid-summer concert which took place in front of imperial Hofburg Palace in the center of Vienna.
DVD (DVD9) is in Widescreen (16:9) format with DD5.1 and DD2.0 sound option. Andre Rieu speaks in German but subtitles are available. Main feature runs for 135mins. There is no extra features. | Although I don't know the languages that Andrea usually sings in, I prefer he not sing in english. And the nod to Elvis on this CD is out of place. |

| Richard Burton, Julie Andrews and Robert Goulet. How could you go wrong? They really don't make them like this anymore. Jay Lerner's fantastic songs and a wonderful treatment of T.H. White's "The Once and Future King", one of the greatest novels of the twentieth century, this cd is a must have for any fan of great musicals and probably all of us baby-boomers who still remember our country's own Camelot.

| This has been one of my favorite CD's for a long time. So much so, I bought a copy for my new boyfriend [I was afraid he might want to borrow my copy and not give it back ;-) ]
And the most special little nugget on this CD is the Theme from the Deer Hunter. This nearly brings me to tears every time I hear it. So moving and powerful. If you enjoy classical guitar, You will love this collection. |

| This is a stellar performance by a superb cast and conducted expertly by Valery Gergiev. Hvorostovsky and Fleming are ideal as Onegin and Tatiana The stark set, indeed a "non-set", is at first disappointing, but does succeed in focusing attention on the human drama instead of toward lavish production elements. Color is used very effectively to saturate each scene and outline the singers. | Love Sarah Brightman, however, this CD doesn't have one song on it in English. While I enjoy a mixture of her other CDs that are bilingual, this entire CD consists of songs in other languages I don't understand. Very disappointing. Played it thru only once. Probably won't play it again. No speakers on my computer so I can't "test run" these. My own fault, I guess. |
