| I really enjoy this music. I like the quality and style of music presented by the Irish Tenors, and I like Christmas music. This is the perfect CD for me. I like hearing it from early November through the holiday season. I have given this album as a gift, and it was much appreciated. I would recommend it for anyone who likes traditional Christmas music. |

| In the best parts of these performances - those mentioned by Tom Lawrence, but I would definitely add to his list "Where shall I fly" - Lorraine's flame burns fully as intensely and penetratingly as on her great Handel recording with Harry Bicket.

| Hilary Hahn Is one of the meanest musician I've met. I haven't been able to listen to this (superlative) album since meeting her last season after she performed the Tchaikovsky Concerto with the Detroit Symphony.

| I had heard the Guards many times, of course in more movies then I can count, or can I?, but they are amazing and this was the second one I bought (Auld Lang Syne being the first) and I absolutely was amazed by the breadth and heart in the songs, I as a result have pruchased the dvd to acoompany this cd so I could now watch the Guard perform as well.
If you love bagpipes or just want your heart to soar and your feet to start swinging without you then give this a listen. |

| the 5 dvd set was good but it is incomplete and leaves the resolution unsolved. Since this is the second of the "outlaw years" with 22 episodes, I was disappointed. What happens to the characters in a finale is not told. These episodes are good but . . . |
