| I'm a seeker of the ideal Chopin. This performance is very good but if you have the Chopin recordings of Pollini,Perahia,Zimerman and Rubinstein then you probably don't need this one. But if you do decide to buy it you wont be disappointed. |

| I grew up on opera but not on Maria Callas. Joan Sutherland, Schwartzkoff, Victoria Los Angeles, and Mady Mesple (to name a few) crowded the airwaves of our home growing up. I had heard that Maria Callas was THE Diva of opera and bought one of her obscure recordings from a low budget bin while in Paris 10 years ago. It didn't impress me that much. | This 4th CD is a perfect addition to the set, especially tracks 4 (Give me a midnight snack, to the tune of Bizet's "Habanero") and 12 (Beep beep beep--which gives a whole new perspective of "Moonlight Sonata"). For classical music lovers, it's really great and for those new to classical musical or who've never before thought of it as "music", the lyrics are hilarious and catchy, and help the listener think perhaps those "ancient composers" actually knew what they were doing. |

| I bought this because I love to listen to cellos. On my Mark&Daniels,the sound is first rate, overall. ButI would have loved to have the cello given a bit more prominence, audio-wise. The accompanying instruments are aggressive enough to drown the cello out in the musical pictures, except for the first selection which is just fabulous. |
