| This is a wonderfully nuanced & beautiful recording of this work. I don't understand why no one mentions the Lux Aeterna -- Donna Deam's rendering of the solo sounds purely angelic. |

| The Emerson Quartet are the last word is modern, slick string quartet groups. Their extremely streamlined sound works very well sometimes, othertimes not. Their recording are usually worth a listen, and usually rank high with the Gramophone, Penguin & BBC critics, but I often find I enjoy other quartets more in given works, and have often traded in for different versions. Too often, they're just too slick. In this case, that slickness works in just the right way.

| This CD is only worth listening to if you've already grown tired of volumes 1,2, and 4. The selections and the lyrics aren't nearly as funny nor as enjoyable by comparison.
We have all four CDs and listen to the others repeatedly. They make great gifts and a wonderful way to introduce children (and their parents) to classical music. |

| The pictures of those old, beautiful buildings are unbelieveable. We don't see that kind of workmanship today. Just imagine these buildings were done with very primitive tools and material and, yet they withstood all these years. Today every thing is done in a hurry and at a great cost for something that won't last. This DVD is an absolute must have. I can't praise it enough. |

| This cd is great if you have an ecclectic music pallad but don't wanna by individual cds. It has some great songs and is great "bubble bath" music. Also good for long drives or just relaxing. I highly recommend 4 Seasons...such a beautiful song I almost cried. |

| This CD mostly delivered what was expected of it. The only critique I have is that some of the tempos could have been cleaner, and that it should be cross-referenced by the other composers besides J. S. Bach. |

| I heard parts of this cd on a show on npr radio and was intrigued enough to look it up and order a copy. The entire cd is a beautiful flow of and interesting mix of instruments not really like anything else I've heard. It's relaxing and inspiring at the same time. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys instrumental music that is much more than the usual. |

| I play this for my son when he is going to sleep and it is enjoyable for both of us. A few of the songs are a little "off" the purely soothing edge, but it's still very nice. |
