| Look, this cd has its bright spots, but there is so much that just didn't work out with it. Firstly, the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra plays with its usual energy and authentic approach, but Yo Yo plays in a modern style. The two just don't mix. I keep expecting to hear some decorations to the cello line but there just aren't any. Some of the music is just played too fast such as the slow movement of the double cello concerto. | Sissel's voice is transcendent. So pure and lovely and easy to listen to. Her choice of music is out of this world. I can listen to it every day and not get tired of it. |

| This collection from the early years of Manuel Barrueco is one of the best values you'll find. It's 3 discs long and contains some of the best guitar playing I've ever heard. I've owned this set once before and had to buy it again because my original CDs were worn out from ware and tear. Highly recommended for anyone starting a serious classical guitar collection. |

| Choral music by the Cambridge Singers is always top-notch. An older album that might have sounded better with newer technology but no complaints. Has great vocals and orchestral support. |

| I was expecting this to be true to its title"Meditation".
Though nice it's really just a random selection of music not necessarily soft or meditative. |

| As usual, Anonymous 4 has researched (usually one year) and compiled an album of music that flows as if the pieces were written to be performed together. The musicality and the pitch is impeccable. Those who gave few stars to this recording and performance are commenting with regard to personal preference rather than truly rating this wonderful performance. These women research, arrange and perform historic pieces that present programs in a set time period. Lovely, just lovely. As a musician, I find no fault with this compilation. |
