| With this cd, I can have "Saturday Night" any time I want, with the best of Lawrence Welk, the hymns, ready for my listening pleasure. We always liked the hymns more than any other part of his program, which was a Saturday night fixture in our home.
If you enjoyed the way the hymns were done on his TV program, then you will want to get this cd right away. |

| These days many music fans with grounding in good ol' rock and roll have bent their ears to light, melodic jazz standards. Here's a challenge: pick up this low-priced CD, take note of the famous names and that each track averages about 3 minutes in length - that's what us rockers have been raised on.

| This is by far one of the best compilations of ancient music I have come across. Pickett and the NLC make every selection sparkle with life. Fascinating in its variety, what sets this collection apart is the skill of the performers and the remarkable sound quality of the recording. A terrific introduction to this period in European music for novices, and an absolute must for the collector, this belongs in every ancient music fan's collection. Highly recommended. |

| I have owned several CD recordings of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and this most recent purchase is the best I have heard.
I have many recordings of Andre Previn, both as a pianist and a conductor. Andre Previn has never let me down. He has a natural feel for everything I have heard him perform. Previn presents Swan Lake totally complete as Tchaikovsky originally composed it, including the two additional numbers in Act III which were added after the 1st performance.
