| Johann Strauss is perhaps my favorite composer. The flowing melodies of his waltzes are without compare.
I'm not a professional musician, so I won't presume to judge the details of the performance, but I can say I'm very pleased with the sound quality of the recording. |

| This two disc CD contains much great peaceful music some of which you may had heard before. It is well worth adding to anyones classical music collection. Play this at the end of a hectic day and appreciate how music really can help calm you down.

| I cannot rate this disc because I don't own it, but thought I would offer a warning based on hearing other works by this pianist.
If Mr. Roge's interpretaion of Ravel is anything like his take on Debussy piano music, be wary of spending money on this disc. Mr. Roge's playing of Debussy is superficially correct, but lacks the depth and subtlety this delicate music requires. My advice would be to look elsewhere first. |

| A wonderful CD collection indeed! I have bought all of the Brilliant Classics Complete Collections and have not been upset with any set. The only thing I didn't like about this set (and only because I can compare with my others), the information was on the outside instead of the inside. Meaning that all of the works were located on the outside box instead of on the flap like Mozart, Beethoven and Bach.

| I have seen many times The Swan Lake, at the Bolshoi Theatre and in URSS in Leningrad before and S.Petersbourg later ,and abroad, this ballet, but the role danced by Uliana lopatkina, so mature and controlling her movements so perfectly , i have never seen before!! |
