| My son does not particularly enjoy reading himself, but this book series is one that he happily read. I highly recommend for any child that is interested in animals and some of the gross and interesting things that they do. We went to the zoo after reading this series too and my son had a ball seeing some of the animals from this series. He thinks these books are cool. |

| Both my toddler and grade-school age son enjoy this book - on different levels of course. The pictures are simply beautiful and my toddler just enjoys paging through looking at them - getting the basic idea that a caterpillar becomes a butterfly (maybe). My older son obviously understands more but also enjoys the pictures. You'll get a lot of use out of this one. |

| I gave this to my son who is reading, but at times needs to be encouraged to practice reading. While expecting him to only read a few pages, he asked to read the whole book. He was also excitedly relating various plot points and information about dolphins. Anything that can get him excited about reading is great, and it has the added bonus of teaching him facts about dolphins. |

| My third graders fight over this book! I am going to buy more copies so that more can share it at one time! The combination of excellent poetry set in eye grabbing fonts and shapes, with the camouflaged photographs intrigues and fascinates. What a great way to introduce and involve students in poetry. |

| Grandchildren enjoy this book to help identify what they have located outside while they play. Lot of info for young children to understand. The 8 yr old really enjoys reading it and learning about the different subjects. Good series of books! |
