| My children like the Thomas the Tank Engine series. However, I have to agree with the other reviewer that commented on the disjointed stories. It is very frustrating reading all of these stories as one sentence doesn't flow into the next sentence. I am constantly backing up and rereading the sentences to make sense of the stories. The kids like the pictures, so half the time I make up a story to go along with the pictures. |

| Suitable from the age of 18 months, this book was my son's favourite for a long while. It starts off with Bobo the clown going to the station and getting on Thomas to attend a party in the town. The rest of the book follows Thomas through the countryside and has links from page to page. It keeps their attention and they learn the words really quickly. Definitely a recommended book. |

| only 3 of the 10 numbers are represented by trains! My son loves all things Thomas, but he isn't interested in counting three railroad signs or four suitcases. I'm awfully glad that I looked at this book in the library before buying it.
On the other hand, he can't get enough of Thomas and Friends boardbook! |
