| This book is a UK edition and we didn't like it because it calls Sir Topham Hat the "Fat Controller" - it's more meanspirited than the other Thomas books we have and we ended up tossing it, because we didn't like its message. Some Thomas books are more fun to read than others (eg Thomas and the Shooting Star, Down at the Docks are fun, Go Train Go gets hard to read over and over sometimes), but this was the only one that didn't work for us. |
