| The art work in this book is incredible. Armstrong took the images from my childhood dreams and put them on paper. The colors are rhythmic and images are fierce. I recommend this book, for the story everyone grew up with, and no one should grow up without. The art work brings the story to life. I love this book. |

| C. S. Lewis gave us a timeless adventure that never grows old. I have the book, read it many times, but wanted it in audio, to listen as I crochet. The story is fresh each time I read or listen. This is great to take on a trip, to listen while in the car. You are never too old to hear it again and again. Michael York is fantastic as the reader for the audio. He really brings the story to life in a very real way. |

| The Narnia chronicles are enjoyed in this format. I have not read the books so I will not tell you they are perfect. The CD's gave me a chance to become acquainted with the stories. Different people play the different characters. It is radio theater. |

| Pros: Absolutely beautiful illustrations, a detailed chronology, devotes several pages to each book.
Cons: Not the best choice for children, not the best choice for people not familiar with the books. This pop-up book is full gorgeous illustrations, many of them full color versions of the ones that appear in the actual books, many of them original. | I purchased this edition of the "Chronciles of Narnia" to utilize with the literary analysis class I was teaching using Thomas Williams "The Heart of the Chronicles of Narnia." I wanted a text which contained all seven stories that I could take to class with me each day. A bonus plus of this edition is the Narnia Timeline in the center of the book.
