| This is a colorful workbook with 64 pages of activities. The layout is very good for small children because it is not crowded. The book shows ages 3 thru 5, and Amazon has ages 4 thru 8. My opinion would be that this book is more appropriate for 3 to 4 year olds.

| This was a very good, very very very good book. It was provacative, and scary, but not in a bad way. It was an alagory, which is why, if you don't understand the alagory, was boring to some people. I would reccomend that children under the age of 10 should NOT read this book without parental guidence. The only problems I had with the book were (a The ending was awful . . .it left you hanging . . and (b release . . . . the reason you should have a mentor preveiw it, or read it with you. | We have a 9th grader and a 6th grader. Over the years, we have purchased numerous academic study guides. Vocabulary is a dry topic for most people. We have many vocab books in the house. This is one of the very best.
2.5 years years ago, I bought this book for my daughter who was in 7th grade at the time. I just bought another copy of this book for my son who is in 6th grade. | I was very happy with this book for my son going into 5th grade. I wanted him to keep up his math skills - the book is wonderful for that! There are some sections (social studies, history) that I ended up crossing off because I thought it was just too hard. Some of the writing I changed up a little to make it more interesting for my son (who doesn't want to write!) I will definitely do this again next summer. |
