| I am buying this book again because the first one I bought years ago is worn out from being loved and enjoyed by my oldest grandchild. Now that my youngest grandchildren are seven and eight, it's time to introduce it to them.
It probably is too sophisticated for younger children, but anyone from seven years and up will enjoy it tremendously. The illustrations pop off the page and, on the CD, the actors emote to fairy tale perfection. The fact that it raises money for a good cause is icing on the cake! |

I mean the rough times and the scary times Anne never went down she never made a doubt that she might get hurt or get found in the "Secret Annex". This is where Anne stayed most of the time during the war so no one could find her. The war was a very tough time for Anne and her family. | I bought this last Christmas for my four-year-old niece. She loves the pictures and the poems are fun and interesting. I'm hoping this is just another step for her toward appreciating and loving the natural world. |

| I wish this book had more pages - more written pages as well as more photos. The story about how it all started was great, but it seemed to end prematurely. One can read this book in 5 minutes. And I really wish there were more photos like the ones we associate with william wegman's work (like in calendars, for example) instead of only the few at the end. It seemed like there were just more artsy photos of the dogs and puppies. But still a delightful little book. |

| I thought the book would be a little beyond my son's abilities, but he loved the book from the cover. We have a different edition from the one pictured here - the one we have has two large birds on the cover. I read the stories aloud to him and they held his attention through most of the text - I skipped through some parts. I would definitely recommend this book for reading aloud and/or when the child is able to read himself or herself. |
