| I love this story and was planning on getting it for my daughter at some point- when I saw it as a board book I decided to get it right away! The book seems well made and has nice bold, vibrant illustrations. The only negative thing I noticed about it- and I noticed it right away when I received it- is the fact that it has pointy edges. | I brought this book for my 4 year old granddaughter, and she loves it. The pictures that appear in the maze make it easy to teach the concept of mazes. For example, the first maze has a hedge bordering all sections of the maze. My granddaughter understood following a path when I told her "you can't jump over or go through the hedge". She had so much fun that she just about finished the book in one sitting. |

| I teach English to children in France and this book has very little content geared for my needs and not worth the $12 I spent. I love to teach with mini-books that I create myself, so I was drawn to the title. However, I found the ones offered here very dull, i.e. copying number words, rather than engaging their creativity by having them illustrate the number word. | I bought this book as a gift for my son on his first Valentine's Day, at 5 months old. I fell in love with the adorable pictures and the sing-song verse. He loved the way I would act out the words, touching or tickling the body parts mentioned. It is a perfect book for any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or caregiver to read to a young child. My son still gets a kick out of it at nearly 4, although he has it well memorized.

| Excellent book to help young children learning basic addition skills. We started this book when my son was 4 years, 8 months. The going was slow for a while, but now we are more than halfway through the book, and I no longer have to guide him on every step. Prior to this book, he had not spent a lot of time learning to write his numbers (this was his first numbers workbook), and now he can write his number 1-29 without help.

| Great book. Uses things to interest kids. For example, the alligator story throughout the book is written on a kid level. While teaching chess, get them to read the conversation also. And the use of a "terribly tough test" is great. All questions are worth a point, so it gets them interested if they know they are scoring points. Much like the searching for Bobby Fischer movie. | I purchased this for my 3 1/2 year old. He loves it. Most of it was pretty easy for him, but I am so glad I got it. He loves stickers so the first few pages were a neat way to get started. The one on one time with Mom is wonderful and he looks forward to it every day. We usually did 3-4 pages each day. It is bright and colorful and the paper is very sturdy. |

| My 10 mo. old daughter loves this book and it's alot more durable than I thought it would be. She has ripped off some of the flaps but for the most part they are pretty strong. I definitely recommend this book to other parents especially for those whose children love Elmo! |

| Do you like pig books? If you do you will like Olivia and The Missing Toy by Ian Falconer. I like this book because I think its funny.
It's about a pig that is named Olivia. In the story Olivia the pig puts her doll down on her bed, looks away, then looks back and it is gone. She looks and does not find it. I'm not going to tell you more so go pick it up at a store near you and find out what happens. You will be surprised who took her doll. |
