What child no matter the age doesn't enjoy good knock-knock jokes? I remember many times sitting around a campfire giggling over the jokes. These are not just good; they are awesome. Laughter keeps us healthy! I am taking my copy on our next family vacation! |

| This is a hilarious book and a must read for any first year teacher. A beautifully illustrated reminder that in teaching (no matter how long you have been doing it) things do not always turn out as expected. It is a wonderful book to read on a day when nothing has gone well. My students also loved this book and it was a great introduction to letter writing. A great companion book is "First Day Jitters" by the same author and illustrator. |

| We just finished this book the day before my son's 5th birthday. We really liked it. It is great for practicing not only counting but writing legible numbers, identifying patterns, dot-to-dot activities (his favorite). It begins very simply and slowly gets more advanced, but the kids barely notice it. It was fun for him and he often wanted to do several lessons' worth of work in a sitting... this from a very energetic little boy who can usually not sit still. Recommend this book and am looking for more of these to follow. |

| I read this to my 2 year old when I wanted him to start sleeping in a big boy's bed. I couldn't believe how easily this book helped with the transition. With everthing that elmo did in this book, my son could do/ have too. I showed him elmo's pillow,sheets,and lovey's and then showed my son that he has his pillow, chose his sheets, ect..too and said that "he was just like elmo" what was another great bonus is that in this book, elmo has no binkie in his mouth - so, when it was time for that stage to happen - this book became my greatest reference! ... | Max's Toys is another wonderful little Max book for children and adults. They capture a young child's world with humor and empathy. As Max asserts his "needs," Ruby perceives them as "wants" much like parents. I am a child/family therapist and I use the Max and Ruby books frequently. |
