| My kids love getting quizzed with a few cards at night while winding down before bed. The most exciting part is how they beam with pride when they correctly answer a "Genius Point".
As a matter of preference, I personally like the omission of illustrations in this 1st Grade edition. More questions fit on each card, meaning the set lasts longer. I will definitely buy the other sets once we make it through this deck. |

| This has been a great book for my son (age 3). He can't wait to work on a few pages each night and his skills have improved quite a bit as we near completing the workbook. This book is engaging and gives great instructions for the parents as well to encourage development while still focusing on encouragement. The skills develop incrementally which means the kids get better without realizing the skills are getting harder. My normally easily frustrated son is progressing rapidly and loves every ... | I really like her cute artwork, and I like her direct way of writing to little kids. It works very well for them.
I do want to say, though, that this book is not very strongly constructed, which seems a terrible error, given the age range! Keep it on a high shelf, definitely. It's a book to be read with supervision. |

| I loved dot-to-dot puzzles as a kid, so I was really looking forward to these puzzles. The completed pictures range from okay to very impressive. The reason for my giving the book one less star is that I was always impressed with a dot-to-dot puzzle that was one continuous line. Many puzzles in this collection have continuous lines for large portions, but only one "No Dot" puzzle is continuous and it is of a less impressive completed picture. | I had been looking for a fun Dot-to-Dots book for awhile but all I ever found were the very simple kid dot-to-dot books until I found these books which so far come Books 1-6. And, I know we're hoping more will come out soon as we need our Dot-to-Dot fix since these are so much fun!! I loved these as a kid and really LOVE these books as an even BIGGER kid (kid-at-heart). | We have many of the Henry & Mudge stories. We love the humor, thoughtfulness, and the way the love and bond between a child and his dog is captured in these stories. This one is a favorite of mom and dad. We would probably read it without reading it to the children - because of the memories this story brings back of visits to the beach.
