| My girls and youngest niece have really enjoyed this. I admit playing with them myself (at my age!) has been great fun. My littlest girl, just three, is not quite ready for this type of toy because we don't want the dolls torn up just yet. So we appease her with a fairy plastic toy while we play and read fairy stories to each other. The dolls and outfits are representative of Barker art and are very beautiful. We love them. |

| This book was almost too young for my six year old, but she has great fun reading it over and over to her 1 year old brother, and telling me the knock knock jokes in the car. He likes the bright pages, and she loves the play on words coupled with the animal characters.
Sometimes I think if I hear "Wayne wayne, go away" one more time I might scream, though! ;) |

| I was so excited when I came across these 'research guides' in a used book store, they are a wonderful addition! My kids have enjoyed the series so much, but the books are a little young for some fans, but they love getting the research guide to deepen their understanding of the settings and get good background information. With the summer Olympics upcoming, I made sure to have this research guide available before school ended. |

| Even if you never cook any of these foods, this is fun reading for Little House fans. The book is crafted so excerpts from the books which mention the foods are included with the recipes. I haven't tried cooking any of these, but most recipes seem doable. Good for LHOTP collections. |
