| I bought Manners Can Be Fun for my 2 year old granddaughter. She is too young to understand a lot of it but is enthralled with the pictures. Reading this book to her reminds me that I should always, always teach with actions rather than words because little eyes are watching and a slip in manners, even at home, will have an impact. |

| The American Boy's Handy Book by Daniel Beard is a guide book for boys. It includes directions for knots, kite building, camping without a tent, and how to build a snow fort, just to name a few. The book was originally published in 1882 and is filled with black and white drawings. While I think it's wonderful to introduce young boys to the joys of the outdoors, they will have some difficulty with the language of the book. | We are homeschoolers and were looking for an atlas to accompany our geography curriculum. I borrowed this particular book from the public library. We were so impressed, we decided to purchase our own copy. I felt the price was great for something like this - oversized, beautiful color photographs, satellite images; political and physical maps of each continent; just about anything you could ever want from an atlas. The text is geared towards students - my own children are 9 and 11. |

| I got this to use with my six year old granddaughter when she comes to our house. We go to our local park to look for fairies. (She's seen one!) We have a lot of fun. Some of the recipes aren't too good, but they are all easy and fun. |

| My daugther has several of the Berenstain Bear books and she loves reading them. They have a positive message for children while keeping their attention. Even though she reads at a higher level, she still loves these books. |

| My daughter has loved the I Spy board books since I first checked one out of the library for her (and then went on to buy about 4 of them). She just turned 2 and this is her favorite book, hands down. We read it every night and she can't get enough of it. She's can identify almost all of the letters and gets a big kick out of it. | Our baby loved this book from when she was like 5 months old. It has great contrasty illustrations, not too much text, and you can test your acting abilities as you make "dinosaur fat" and "dinosaur tiny" voices. |
