| well, as the title of the book suggests, this is a book about good manners, being polite and what not.
My 2 year old girl likes it already, although I think it would be even better for older children, they could follow more easily the stories with their favourite characters from Richard Scarry (great drawings!!!). | I slip this book into the bedtime rotation a couple times per month. Of all the Berenstain Bears books, this one elicits the most uncomfortable looks from my two, young boys.
The book touches on the value of the truth as well as the problems that result from being a tattler. I've found the book to be a great tool for instilling values in our children. | The book reads well and can be used as the child grows. Initially a younger chil will like the stories and need some explaination but as you read the stories over and the child grows they can make out their oun interpretations of the habits (with some guidence of the parents). |

| Our class read this book together this year. We loved it!!! It is about a 4th grader named Peter and his annoying brother named Fudge. Peter wins a turtle named Dribble from his friend Jimmy Fargo's birthday party. Fudge is always getting into trouble. Fudge's birthday is a disaster! First, someone wets on the floor and bites the grandma. One child throws up and falls asleep. And another child never stops crying. What will Peter do about his little brother??? | Just a quick note of thanks to Louise again a wonderful collection of affirmations. I have quite a few of her adult books and to find a childrens version is just fantastic. Beautifully illustrated and set out in a thoughtful easily understood manner. Cannot recommend enough. Have already passed it around to family and friends. |
