| I bought it for my 7 year old, and love the book, but the book targets the older child, I would say ages 9 and up. Very good book though, I was able to read it to my child, and explain cliques etc. He understand it, which is good, but still has lots of questioning, typically normal of a 7 year old. |

| Some very smart kids just don't fit in the classroom. They learn differently. This book assures those kids that they are not "weird", but just might need to learn lessons differently. Unfortunately, most state educational programs do NOT address these needs.
Hopefully, these different-learning kids will learn to accept themselves rather than to succumb to any titles that may be assigned to them, ie, slow learner. |

| We have other in you books that we really enjoyed while my son learned some history. This book is listed for ages 9-12 but assumed much more pre-knowledge of the american revolution than children that age would have. There was no real history attached minus some people were loyalists and some were patriots. What information that was in this book was lost for the 9-12 year old group because it is a difficult read for the age. | I'm the mother of an 8-year old daughter diagnosed with OCD. This book opened up new doors for us in treating this disorder. It has been perfect for her, and she actually wants to sit down with me to read it. I believe that giving her obsessions/rituals an actual name and introducing her to a child who struggles with similar issues is a major step in our road to living triumphantly over OCD. | I read the reviews on this book before purchasing and no one mentioned how this book not only talks about BOYS but GIRLS parts and what they go through too! Why on earth would my 11 year old son need to know where the clitoris is?? I was pleased with the book until I got to that part! a full drawing of all the parts of a girls vagina.. they may as well talked about oral sex while they were at it!
