| Another wonderful book by Laura Numeroff, author of the "If You Give A..." series. In this book a little girl can't fall asleep because the sheep are asleep, so she counts other animals. This is suitable for even 1 and 2 year olds. The sentences are repetitive and rhyming which makes for easy reading and keeps kids attention. My two year can 'read' it to herself. The pictures are lovely and the treatment of animals is soft and cuddly. |

| Absolutely gorgeous artwork.... so good in fact that it may actually outshine the story. Not that it's a bad story - it's not. It's good. It's just that with artwork like that you expect the story to be extraordinary as well. You get the feeling the story was written to showcase the artwork instead of the other way around. |

| We played the tape with these lullabies for our baby when she was born 18 years ago. Now we give the book and CD to many couples having a baby. The lullabies are just as relevant and beautiful now as they were 18 years ago. |

| My three year old son loves this book. We read it every night and he is able to feel what Franklin is feeling, which is great. This is one book that keeps his attention. The first time he saw this book he screamed in delight about Frankiln having a blanket just like his. This is such a nice book for all who have a blanket or for parents who had blankets. |

| This is a brilliant book. I purchased it when my 2.5 year old son was refusing to sleep to try to explain to him that everyone sleeps, and why everyone sleeps. I could relate the facts in the book to things he understood, including when Caroline (a character in the book) goes to sleep and how she gets cranky when she doesn't get her nap. Thereafter he would say he needed his sleep so that he wasnt cranky like Caroline! He loves reading the book before nap and bed time - and the last few pages about drifting ... Read More: |

| My 3 year old son adores this book!! It's probably his favorite. We renewed it over and over again until finally I ordered it. It is a very cute, funny book and I can certainly related to the frazzled daddy who falls asleep in his exhausting attempts to get Susie to finally take her nap. |
