| These books are a pleasure to read and to look at ! This series of books are the favourite with my 9 month old daughter and me ! We have been enjoying these books for about four months now. I even recite them to my little girl when we are out walking to squeals of delight. I have borrowed a lot of books from the library, so you could say I have done a lot of "road testing". | My daughter loved this book when she was young. The simple rhymes, the colorful images of animals and the shortness of the story make it an ideal book to read before bedtime. I read it to her many times and she often giggled at the antics of the animals captured in the pictures. |

I buy them for our friends who are turning five or six and just starting to read, but the humor's good enough for older kids too. A smart babysitter could have a stash of these to bring with him/her and entertain the little ones a lot. |

| As a parent of a toddler, I was able to relate to this book about a little sheep who decided to stay up late and play. He was so tired the next day he couldn't even chew his food! Sometimes we ask our daughter, now 4, if she is too tired to chew -- and she grins. We have yet to find a copy of our own at a reasonable price, so we continue to check it out from our local library branch! |
