| This book is good for pre-readers. The story is simple and very relatable to very young children. My 2 1/2 year old identifies with the little girl going through the house while everyone is asleep. Kevin Henkes is a genius. I love all his books. |

In addition to an entertaining story, the book teaches an age appropriate lesson in the various words used to describe different groups of animals. With detailed, colorful illustrations to keep the attention of young children, Herd of Cows! Flock of Sheep! is a highly recommended read. |

| I bought this book because I knew it was family bed-friendly. But I have an 8 year old step-daughter who comes every other weekend who does not sleep with us and she absolutely loves this book also! Kids seem to really get a kick out of the repeating line, How am I supposed to sleep like this?! Like other reviewers, I love the realism-there are nights where you don't love the crowded bed, but you still wouldn't trade it for another arrangement! |

| This is a wonderful children's book from Spain. Some people will see the brown skinned boy on the cover and not buy it but it is truly a great book for all kids.
