| This is a very sweet book. I was going through some old books, and found this one. My son is almost 18 and about to go off to college. This is the only childhood book of his I saved. It had special meaning to me as a single Dad. The Dad in the book is patient and loving with his young son. The neighborhood presents a world of wonder, but the boy is secure with his Dad. Not many childrens books focus on the father son relationship. This one is a gem. |

| I read "Morris Tells Boris Mother Moose Stories and Rhymes" by Bernard Wiseman with my big brother. I liked that book very much. It's very funny. I liked the part where Morris the Moose tells Boris the Bear a story about four bears, putting Boris in the story, of course. The part that made me laugh was when Morris calls Boris a big fat bear in his story, and Boris shouts, "A WHAT???" Morris and Boris are an entertaining duo. I sure hope to have this book some day. |

| The text fights off any sensible reader and answers the question, "If kids are afraid of bears, what are bears afraid of?" with a simple example: cloying rhymes.Illustrations are very cute, making me wonder if this was designed as a TV show that didn't quite make it to the tube. |

| This is a cute story with some fun artwork. It shows how a yawn spreads from person-to-person (and sometimes via animal) all the way around the world.
Some of it is just silly fun. E.g., "A lady with three fancy poodles / dug into her plate of noodles / then plopped into a soggy snooze. / They put it on the morning news."
