| This was an extremely informative and enlightening book. I bought a copy for my teenage daughter, my teenage son as well as my niece. This book dispells all myths about pregnancy and offers very valuable guidelines on what to do if you find yourself pregnant.
This book was great, it should be left on the coffee table for all to see and hopefully we will start talking about these topis openly. |

| Beautiful photographs of LIFE - from the ovum and sperm joining together to the baby's head emerging at birth, this book takes you there. My son loved looking at the pictures. My husband and I had to take a deep breath to read the part that tells how the sperm gets in there to begin with. He's 7 and it was time. This was the best possible way. Amazing pictures! |

| It's such a great book; great pictures. I think it may be a little too complex for 4-5 year olds. But kids older than this would benefit. Read it w/your kids. |

| Most teenagers, Catholic or not, will not get into books such as this and the simlar Sex and the Teenager book from the same publisher. The reason is that these moralistic books are irrelevant to the reality that most teenagers have and enjoy a variety of sex acts. This book is unhealthy and irresponsible in its message. Sex is part of all of us. We need to embrace it with commonsense, not see it as something to wait for. |

It reinforces gender stereotypes, assumes parents are quite prudish at times, and is heterosexist in places. It does have some strengths, however. The work provides sample Q&A, definitions, and suggested activities. It is also good at outlining where a child is at developmentally regarding issues that can come up. |
