| I bought this book for my 10 yr old son. I made sure I read it first then gave it to him to read. We followed with a great discussion. I had researched a lot of other books and now that I have had the book/conversation with my son I am glad I chose this book! I was not ready to discuss masterbating, wet dreams or homosexuality with my child yet and this book DID NOT mention these things. It was simple and straightforward. A perfect Primary Grade Book! |

| I thought this book had smart ideas like how some people have trained their brain that they must breakup, even when things are going good, they must find something wrong. But it also seemed like the authors were trying to brainwash. My friends were getting mad at me and hiding this book from me. They make ridicuous claims that laying horizontal or having tickle fights are NONOs cuz they can lead to more (sex.) | When I ordered this book it was mainly for my 3 yr old grand-daughter.... the book was very informative.... BUT - it was very graphic for a 3 yr old and went into ALOT of detail on reproduction etc... the book said it was for pre-schoolers...
I think it was more appropriate for my 8 to 10 yr old grandchildren... and would suggest not shared while with mixed genders.... |

| I read the reviews on this book before purchasing and no one mentioned how this book not only talks about BOYS but GIRLS parts and what they go through too! Why on earth would my 11 year old son need to know where the clitoris is?? I was pleased with the book until I got to that part! a full drawing of all the parts of a girls vagina.. they may as well talked about oral sex while they were at it! | The book was simple to follow, easy for the younger kids. But, it was a simple little, practically should be free, book. It was more like the type that should be given out at pre-school. The concept is great but they prey on our fears. |

| I did a fair amount of research and purchased two books that I hoped would be appropriate to give to my son sometime after he turns 12. After reading the first book (which I have reviewed elsewhere) I was very disapointed and discouraged. When I read the next book, though, the book by Mavis Jukes (who I did not even realize is a woman until my wife point that out to me later), I was quite pleased. This could not be farther from the truth.
