| Nice glossy hardcover, with cardboard pages inside. Each time you turn the page there's a new guessing game: the text and drawings provide clues to which character is hiding behind something in the drawing. There are six charcters to be guessed in all. (A couple are of more recent Sesame Street generations.) The illustrations are okay. The game is what's fun about it. Once it's become familiar you can still spend time investigating details in the pictures. |

| My now 3 year old daughter got these books as a gift on her 1st birthday and loved them. Her 1 year old brother has discovered them and loves to read them, squeeze them and chew on them. The simple themes of kisses and hugs were easy to grasp and is the perfect first book gift. They hold up well even after numerous times in the washer. |

| My daughter loves this book...especially the page where Bert is at the Doctor's office. It helps her know exactly what is what at the Doctor's office and loves to impress the Doctor with her medical vocabulary. All the pages are great and the illustrations are absolutely WONDERFUL! |

| I think this is a neat book because it tells how Grover is scared to go on his first sleep over. I think all kids are scared when they stay the night away from home for their first time and this book tells about it. This is a good book for a child who is scared to go on their first sleep over. It will teach them that it's not so scary after all. |

| I bought this book thinking it would be such fun for my 8 month old. It is a cute story but the puppets and story do not fit well together. I was expecting that the story would be written to incourage child or parent to interact with the story using the puppets. There are only two lines in the story sugesting to use the puppets.
