| I remember growing up with this children's cookbook--begging my parents to buy the ingredients for a particular recipe, so that I could whip up some Oscar's Junk Food Pie or Snuffle's Truffles. Not all of the recipes are desserts, but they're all sure to please kids, who will be frustrated with adult co-preparers who aren't as dedicated to replicating the presentations as illustrated in the book's pages, which are all fascinating and delightful. | As I've stated in several other reviews, I used to read this series of books to my much-younger adopted sisters back when they were first in print in the 80s and early 90s. Now that I have a child of my own I have been re-collecting these books to read to him. The artwork in this book is not nearly as strong as one sees from the usual Sesame Series artists, Chartier and Matheiu, but you can certainly recognize all the characters in Grover's classroom from previous books in this series. ... | My 20 month old loves sesame street. I think that this is a cute book, but it's not really about sharing. It doesn't talk about taking turns and or even use the word share until the last page when they share an apple (and there are 20 pages). If you looking for a book to help teach your toddler how to share, this isn't the book your looking for. |

| my 9-month-old thought this book was very funny, i have no idea why. it's a little board book they can chew on as you read. it's cheap, so why not get it and keep it in your purse? in a pinch, it'll keep baby busy. |

| I reccomend Dan Elliot's children's book, Grover Goes to School, to kids as well as adults who enjoy a light-hearted story with an Aseop's Fables type of moral interwoven into the plot. This story teaches children the valuable lesson of knowing the fine line between kindess and being taken advantage of. Comical, yet serious, it's an overall excellent book! |
