| The Great Brain is one of the best all time books for boys ever written. In my humble opinion of course. The prose is engaging capturing the attention. The stories are exciting and compelling. The chapters are just the right length. And it has all the elements that young boys love from Cowboys and Indians to cops and robbers. What more could you ask for?

| This book is eye-opening! I have been an avid fan of Harry Potter for years with many reads of the entire series under my belt. I teach a Harry Potter class to elementary & middle school aged kids in the summer (which is why I bought this book). It is so much fun to realize how deep the HP universe really is! | Life in the 1800's in the woods sure is different than it is here. I bet if that family ever came here they would be amazed. Heck, if I ever had to shoot guns or collect sap from trees I would fall asleep during it. Pa is my favorite character. He goes into town to get supplies and hunts at night what about those stories? My favorite part is when Pa is alone in the woods at night and he thinks he sees a bear but it is really a tree. This is the first Little House book I read and I would like to read Little House ... | These books are great for children. I bought this for my grandson who loves this type of humor. I've ordered all of them I believe. And he is in the first grade, and is starting to try to read them himself. This is
juvenile humor. I can read these things, but it is so silly. However, it makes him laugh so much, and the activities keep him engrosed for awhile. I would highly recommend this just based on my grandson's response. |

I couldn't get into this series. It took me forever to read the entire trilogy because I just couldn't engage myself with it. I read the three books a couple of pages at a time with large breaks in between. I finished it out of pure stubborness. Its not that the books were bad. Because the idea behind them was quite interesting. My problem was that I didn't like any of the characters. | This is a wonderful addition to the Charlie Bone series. I recommend it to anyone who likes Harry Potter-you'll find another young outsider to root for. This series is also a little less dark than the Harry Potter series, so it's easier for younger listeners to listen to. |

| Personally I did not care much about Dav Pilkey's books, but my 7 year old son just can't get enough and that is all it matters. He had some reading problems and he just was not motivated until he was introduced these books and now he can't stop reading... he thinks they are so funny!
