| I have an eight year old, third grade son who up till now has very much struggled with reading. This is the second Magic Tree House book he has read and we are doing so well with it. This book is a chapter book but also has pictures, it is just perfect for a beginner chapter book. My son checked it out from the school library as part of thier Accelerated Reader program. | The second book in the His Dark Materials series still has you clamoring for more, though the ending leaves the reader more anxious and weary, than the first book. The amount of religious symbolism intertwined with plot devices is heightened and some of the choices that Pullman makes from a writer's perspective works well. There were other choices that he has made, which leaves me to wonder if the plot is taking control of him, rather than the author controlling the plot.

| I bought the first Geronimo Stilton book for my grandson when he was only five years old. We quickly added more of these delightful books to his library. He is eight now and these are still his favorite bedtime stories. Wonderful adventures for children. |

| Personally I did not care much about Dav Pilkey's books, but my 7 year old son just can't get enough and that is all it matters. He had some reading problems and he just was not motivated until he was introduced these books and now he can't stop reading... he thinks they are so funny!

| This book is eye-opening! I have been an avid fan of Harry Potter for years with many reads of the entire series under my belt. I teach a Harry Potter class to elementary & middle school aged kids in the summer (which is why I bought this book). It is so much fun to realize how deep the HP universe really is! I can't wait for volumes 2 & 3 to come out.

| Erin Hunters books about warrior cats is an incredible tale about cats in the wild. Even though these are regestered as children books I have enjoyed the tales and adventures of these clan cats. It is a great journey and adventure well worth reading. |
