| we took this set of books to our grandson in Israel (10 years old) and he read them all before our visit was over and we were there for 10 days! He couldn't put them down and now I have ordered the next set for when they come out in September. Thank you for making these so interesting that a 10 year old wants to read every waking hour! |

| Repetition is a good tool for teaching kids to remember important lessons. This book does a good job of repeating that hands are not for hitting, and also suggests what hands ARE good for (holding hands to cross the street, etc.). My 4 year old loves this series of books and we refer to the text often in conversation with her to remind her of the important lessons. |

| What would we do without the amazing life of Laura Ingalls and her family?! The Little House Collection has been a favourite of our household for the past couple of years. We are still reading avidly and enjoying watching the series on dvd. Fun to share my childhood memories with my little ones.

| The pictures are entertaining and the speaker captures the attention. My daughter is one to please adults, though. If your child is unruly, I'm not sure this book would work very much. A good reinforcer and fodder(sp?) for discussion. |

| So of course it thrills my heart that my two nieces (2.5 and 5) like it too.
This book is really an early reader, it's not *intended* for children under that age, though of course it can function as a read-aloud for little-little ones. (Not always - my younger niece won't always sit through this one, it's a bit long!)
